Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein's convicted co-conspirator in child sex trafficking crimes, was interviewed by Trump's former criminal defense attorney Todd Blanche. Maxwell is serving 20 years in prison and has every incentive to curry favor with Blanche and Trump in hopes of a presidential pardon.
When interviewing someone in Maxwell's situation, there is one thing any responsible, honest, ethical prosecutor would do BEFORE asking her about the possible crimes of others. And it's something Todd Blanche very likely did not do. Glenn discusses how prosecutors should interview convicted inmates who are looking for a benefit from the government and the implications of a prosecutor who decides to forget the most important 1st step in such an interview.
