Justin is more plugged in on the Brendan

Sorsby case than anybody we got. We're going to get into that in a minute. A little later,

we're going to get into the mailbag, some good questions this week. Ralph, before we taped on Monday,

the Texas Tech story exploded with Brendan Sorsby. And we touched on it a little bit.

We're going to get into a lot more detail. Justin's written some really, really good stuff coming

off it. Justin, thanks for joining us on the audibles today. I appreciate you having me.

Yeah, Justin, so like I think... Little shoes to fill.

I think the easiest way to do this is basically just like tee up on like, where do things stand with the Brendan Sorsby case after we found out on Monday that he was basically checking in to rehab for gambling addiction.

And the NCAA was investigating that for possible violations that could really cost him and

Texas Tech their quarterback for the season.

Yeah, I think what we know is that things are not necessarily looking great for Brendan Sorsby or Texas

Tech as they stand, but we don't have any kind of definitive answers or outcomes on a lot of topics.

You know, as far as the NCAA investigation, you know, Ralph, you were part of this as well,

but the athletics reported, other outlets have reported that the NCAA is investigating Soresby for his gambling.

I think the interesting question there is how will him going into a treatment facility, a residential treatment program, impact the investigation?

Generally, the NCA would want to speak with Brendan Sorsby before making a final ruling on the matter.
