Now, when did the first surviving Arkelly come out?

This time last year we were talking...

No, it was a year. We spoke to

the producer Tamra Simmons. I was going to say six months ago. It was a year.

January. Um, and, um, we know loads of you watch the first series, a season, because we had Tamara on, the

producer and Kathy and I, I'm obsessed with it, I down plays the seriousness of it.

It makes it sound like you're watching, you know, you're watching the box it.

It was a horrendous documentary series talking about R Kelly, the singer, and his abuse of young

women and girls.

Right.

So in the first series they heard from a number of women, including his former wife, giving

testimony about the kind of conditions they were living under when they were living with Arkelly.

And a lot of those women had got together with Arkelly when they were living with Arkelly and a lot of those women had got together with

R Kelly when they were well underage. And so now there is season 2 is out, is

coming out, it's about. It's out, it's called The Reckoning, it was on lifetime. I'm really staggered that this is not being picked up by one of the terrestrial. I don't understand why this is not like front-page news over here.

Because we're talking about 40-odd women who've come forward basically telling the same stories about living with our Kelly about you know being kind of charmed by him some of them were encouraged to stick around with him and spend time alone in the studio because they were going

to further their careers in music.

He said he was going to put, you know, put his support behind them.

Now season two is out.
