Hello, friends, and welcome into Rates and Barrows, the final regular season episodes Oh, my gosh, how did we get here? I am Chris Welsh. That is Enosaris, and this is my final episode of the season. I don't know what the future holds, but boy, have I had a blast hanging with you guys this entire year. And what better way to go out with a little bit of project prospect in this episode,

like a lot of it, because we're going to be talking about the Arizona Fall League. The rosters

have been released. Eno and I will be together in about a month, as well as DVR. We're going to get

to see some of these players. So we're going to talk about that. We're going to talk about a few

hitters and pitchers you guys can look at this week, a few other fun things. But, you know, it's crazy. You know, we start at the beginning of the year and like outside of whatever my future holds with all of it and this being my last episode for at least a bit, like I can't believe we're here. It feels like this season has absolutely zipped by and it feels like we should still have months ahead but we don't and we're going to

spend a whole offseason breaking down a whole bunch but i very much enjoyed spending my time with

you yes i enjoyed it as well i hope to have you back and then you know it is interesting i i

little part of you disagreed like i was like oh it didn't zip along at least I feel in in in like sort of the

It maybe it took long to get here, but now that we're here, I'm like, what's going on? Like, this is the last week. I mean, you have two more regular season episodes, you know,

pause. I think, I think it's good to take a little pause just, you know, to recharge. I think about

you know, just it's useful. It's useful to kind of delineate. I wrote a piece once that seasons

are arbitrary endpoints because we like to compare seasons so much. And, you know, I do, but there is something about stopping and then restarting.

Like, I think if we just did rates and barrels all the way into Arizona Fall League,

all the way into prep season, we would just be like, ah, like I'm still talking.
