| 0:00.0 | Good morning and welcome to the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy. I'm Father Chris. We're very glad you're with us today. I just returned from a week in our visitation house or to our house. I was doing a visitation in Ohio. And I was just telling the group here at the shrine, I haven't been really this excited about a talk in a long time. I know I get excited about all of them, |
| 0:21.6 | but this one especially because as I thought I had finished this talk, last night, late, |
| 0:29.1 | I started digging into it deeper and be able to talk about, and somebody I think has their |
| 0:35.5 | cell phone on if we could turn the volume down, |
| 0:38.8 | okay? And so it's very interesting. We're going to talk about the Last Supper, and we're going to |
| 0:45.8 | talk about where the apostles were seated, and what is the significance of that? And this is something that most Catholics have never been taught, have never been told. |

| 1:24.4 | So let us begin in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. |
| 1:30.5 | Heavenly Father, we ask you send the Holy Spirit down upon us to open our minds and hearts to |
| 1:36.4 | receive this grace that began in the upper room at the last supper. Well, with the incarnation, |
| 1:42.5 | it began, but with the fulfillment of the Passover, we ask that |
| 1:47.7 | these graces be showered upon us. And we ask this Lord through the intercession of Mother Mary |
| 1:54.7 | and through Christ, our Lord. Amen. In the name of the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy |
| 2:00.7 | Spirit. Amen. Okay, we're going to |
| 2:02.9 | come right out of the gate here and we're going to start showing you a bunch of slides because |
| 2:08.4 | this is fascinating. Now, this, what I'm going to teach you is drawn from scripture, sacred tradition, from the Jewish |
| 2:21.2 | context that Jesus lived in, and from my seminary notes. So this is where we're getting. None of this |
| 2:30.1 | is my opinion. This is what I'm teaching you. All right. Let's go to our first slide. This is |
| 2:35.5 | Da Vinci's Last Supper, which was discovered in a Dominican monastery in Milan, and this is the |
