Well, good morning everyone. Hope you're feeling good or hello to you whatever time of day it is.

It's good to see, good to see my name's Clay. For those of you who I haven't met,

my name is still Clay, whether I've met you or not. But it is so good to see you.

I know we've got a lot of people in the West, a lot of people watching online. Thanks for being

here today. Thanks for being with us today. A lot of partner churches. So many people to say hello

to. It's so good to see you. I want to start with this little phrase and I would love for you

to fill in the blank here. Desperate times call for desperate measures. You said that so sarcastically.

Desperate measures. What else you got? Give me something harder. Yeah, desperate times call for

desperate measures. You know this phrase, right? I mean, you've said it. We use it every day

conversation, right? The idea of this phrase, what this line really means is that there are times

where the circumstances are adverse. They're not going your way. You wouldn't have drawn it up

this way. You're not necessarily wishing it would have happened this way. It's just it is what

it is. And so therefore, there are now actions that would have otherwise been deemed unacceptable

that may actually become the best choice. They may actually become the thing that you actually do

because the desperate times have called for them. When I was thinking about this little line,
