Hello everybody and welcome back to another episode of NerdTube.

0:24.2

I am Bo Oliver, join you today with Aaron the NerdTube Monkey and we are back to review

0:28.1

the last of us episode 6, Kin directed by Jasmila Zabonic and written by Craig Mazin.

0:35.1

This was a fun episode for me because of how close it was to the games but also some things

0:39.5

that they expanded on and I feel like I'm repeating that sentiment every week but they

0:43.3

keep doing a good job of it and I thought it was a solid placeholder episode.

0:47.4

It's a fresh start after the first half of the season even though it is 9 episodes

0:51.9

but that episode 5 definitely felt like that we're over the hump here.

0:56.4

But like I said I enjoyed it a lot of emotional scenes between characters, characters being

1:00.7

reintroduced to each other with Joel and Tommy and then new relationships that form where

we got some pretty powerful scenes at least I thought but Aaron what did you think about

1:09.5

today's episode?

1:10.5

Oh that was another good episode I think a lot of these like you said after last week's

1:15.4

episode kind of that little reset and we got a three month time jump here but you could

1:21.0

tell that there are things between Joel and Ellie that really come into fruition this

1:24.5

episode a little things that they've been hinting at and things that audience members

1:28.1

can pick up on through their interactions as their relationship grows and here it kind

1:32.5

of hits you know all these different points where you have them have that very emotional

1:37.6

scene in Ellie's room but by the end you realize like yeah they're in this together

1:41.9

and obviously we've seen Joel's reluctance in some of these parts but I think definitely

1:47.5

by last episode but even before you saw him start to warm up and but now you really get

1:52.4

the full extent to how he views Ellie and I thought they really tied that in together
