It highlights the danger that police are faced with, but also the type of, well, really abuse that even dispatchers have to deal with sometimes.

I'm not saying we take calls like this on a daily basis,

but it's pretty frequent that we will get calls similar to this.

They can happen at any time of day, any day of the week.

Someone calling in with obvious mental health issues that's under the influence of drugs and or alcohol or a combination of all of them

the calls can be all over the place sometimes it might be that someone is controlling their TV and telephone.

Others it might be that they're violent and out to hurt or kill someone.

Sometimes they're as calm as I am right now.

And others, they're over-the-top hostile and use some of the worst language you'll ever hear.
