wonderful time. Now for those of you on the East Coast there are a couple that are

going to be coming up in March, the Luna Con in Rye, New York, and Pax is actually coming over from Seattle

for their first East Coast Convention up in Boston. So that will take place I think on March 27th and 28th.

ReaderCon is always fun in July.

And if you haven't been to a con and you live in other parts of the country or even the world,

you could probably look them up online.

They're a lot of fun to go to.

You meet a lot of good people and, you know, fans who are like-minded and you have some really excellent

discussions so if you haven't gone to a convention please consider supporting your

local science fiction or fantasy convention. The last thing I'm going to just shout out before we begin is

a ward season is coming up. A lot of organizations right now are accepting nominations

for their awards later in the year

that usually take place at conventions.

So if you belong to an organization that has put out a call for nominations, do your part. Send in those nominations. It's the biggest part of the whole process.

Because you get to offer something that is extremely valuable, your opinion.
