The last one was part of our fall festival's guide.

Maria and I covered a ton of great events held in September and October here in New Orleans.

We intended it to go all the way through the end of the year, but there were just too many for one episode.

Part 2 will air soon, but today's show is a replay of one we did about the language of New Orleans.

This one originally aired back in May of 2016,

but I was reminded of it last week while watching out-of-town news reporters try and pronounce

parish and street names while covering Tropical Storm Gordon. In any

event I hope you enjoy it. It's particularly interesting to me to listen to not only the content, but also my voice from back then.

I've definitely become more comfortable on the mic.
