There's a common misnomer in murder cases. If there's no body, no crime scene, then there's no way to prove that there's been a homicide.

But as many prosecutors will tell you, that just isn't true.

It does present a major hurdle. tell you're

missing the most important piece of evidence the victim's body which helps you

prove that a crime even occurred at all.

It also means there is likely a lack of forensic evidence as well,

and that is a tough hill to climb.

But as we'll find out today,

digital forensics can be just as compelling.

And in that regard, the perpetrator in this episode left quite the trail in their wake.
