It is Friday.

We have reached the end of another tumultuous week in the dangerous international world of politics,

of the war in Ukraine, of tax rises, of NHS strikes.

I think there's another one going on today, actually, and it must be a strike.

It's Friday. After all, there's, I think university lectures have walked out as well. Who cares? I don't think anybody else matters, really, do they? O344-49-1,000 is the number. And Winnicum is going to join us first up this morning because we have much to talk about. Lee Anderson has kick started a very interesting conversation. And today I don't just want to talk about whether or not the death penalty is a good thing.

He is being blamed, of course, for wanting to bring back the death penalty,

which is nothing of the sort like what he actually said.

What Lee Anderson actually said was that he believed in certain cases,

in particular cases where there was absolutely no shadow of a doubt about a person's

guilt or innocence, i.e. when there were hundreds of witnesses and or video evidence of something

actually being committed, like the Lee Rigby case, then in some cases like that, he said

it's hard to disagree with the death penalty. Of course, the lefties have all spiraled out of control and started

saying, he's a monster, he wants to kill people. What about the innocents who would be killed by mistake?

Well, none of that was anything like what he said. But what I would like to do is take that conversation

and move it into another area and talk about sentencing and talk about dangerous criminals being

locked up, being locked up,

being locked up for longer because Anne Whittaker was a former prisons minister and she knows a thing or two
