Good Friday is called Good because of what Jesus accomplished for us on the cross.

Mark, there couldn't be any more important week in the church calendar than the one we're in

right now as we consider the passion of Christ, the sufferings of Christ.

And then this day, we call it Good Friday.

But when it was in the midst of happening, it seemed like anything but good.

As a tragedy, I mean, if you're a disciple standing at the foot of the cross, your world just collapsed.
