Well, welcome to Resurrection Weekend at Gateway Church, and welcome if you're watching on the web.

We're glad that you're here. I want to ask you to turn to two passages of scripture,

Exodus 29 and Genesis 22.

Exodus chapter 29, open your Bibles

to Exodus chapter 29, and then put a marker at Genesis 22, and we'll flip over there in a moment.

We've been in a series entitled, My Best Friend, The Son, and we've talked about how Jesus is the carpenter he's the

shepherd he's the bread he's the teacher we've been talking about attributes of

Jesus that he displayed when he was on this

earth and probably one of the greatest attributes of Jesus is that he is the

Lamb and that's what we're going to talk about this weekend, the lamb. Now the word lamb is in the

Bible, I'm sure you're interested, 104 times. 57, 54 times it's in the Torah, the first five books of the Old Testament, 27 times

it's in the book of revelation.

In other words, 3 4ths of the times that's in the Bible, it is over three-fourths of the time,

it is in the first of the Bible or the end of the Bible.

Here's what I'll say about that.

The Bible begins and ends with the Lamb.

Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.

So let me show you some things about the Lamb, all right?

Exodus chapter 29, verse 38, says, now this is what you shall

offer on the altar. Two lambs of the first year. Now watch this, day by day continually.

One lamb you shall offer in the morning and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight. Now you
