0:00.0	Hello and welcome to the rock and roll politics podcast with me Steve Richards. Thanks so much for tuning in wherever you are and you know what I'm going to say. We have got a lot to cram in in our time together. I'm recording in a somewhat unusual space.
0:24.3	I've just left the conference arena in Liverpool.
0:29.4	And to get some fresh air, you don't get much fresh air at party conferences.
0:33.7	One of the many reasons why the metaphor of being in a bubble has a kind of potency.
0:38.3	But I'm now, God, blissfully overlooking the River Mersey.
0:44.3	And it is a glorious backdrop to an otherwise cocooned conference centre.
