Like that whole mentality was very much an accommodationist one, and it trained not only the world

to relate to Christianity a certain way. It also trained Christians to think of themselves as

basically God's PR agents. Yeah. And you have to be a really winsome salesman to sell the gospel

to people. Right. Part of the, then the shift is, A, it didn't work. It did not work. And you still

got the slide into this negative world where it's hostile. But if you continue to try to engage in a

marketplace scenario and it's, I got to get this progressive to sign up, then you just continually

accommodate more and more progressivism in your effort to be winsome.

Right.

And my argument is that's a failed strategy.

It's not going to work.

And instead, a shift to more of a bold, clear approach.

Like you're declaring something, and you're declaring something, this is why the Dow matters,

you're declaring something that people deep down already know. And so you can declare it boldly and sort of leave the results

in God's hand, but your goal is less sell them on Christianity as declare the truth boldly

and clearly. Right, right. It's the difference between seeing clarity as the goal versus

seeing it as sort of a bug, as a defect in the evangelism strategy.
