Today is Wednesday, March 6, 2024.

0:04.4

On today's episode of the show,

0:05.6

we're going to talk a little bit about the Kung Fu Panda movies

0:08.1

and also present an interview with Kung Fu Panda 4

0:11.0

director Mike Mitchell. My name is Ben Pearson. I'm an editor at Slash Film. P All right, B.J. Full disclosure, I have not seen any of the Kung Fu Panda movies, but one of our

0:25.8

1:12.6

There's a bunch of video games.

1:14.2

There's also a theatrical play that I've not seen,

1:17.5

but I know that it exists.

1:19.1

Kung Fu Panda is a lot bigger than I think people realize. And I think it kind of gets slept on because it is a Dream Works animation

1:29.4

sort of franchise and Dream Works. I think they get an unfair bad rap compared to, I would say like the

1:36.3

Disney Pixar world. I think people write them off as like, oh they haven't been good

1:41.3

since Shrek and that's just fundamentally not true.

1:44.4

But the Kung Fu Panda movies are shockingly good.
