When this news came out and I got it late into the night because I'm off the grid watching the

Rangers and the Mets on DVR, my first reaction was as a human disappointment for Mitchell Robinson.

Mitchell Robinson, A, is just like an awesome dude dude and then B, he's always hurt and that's not his fault necessarily.

And so Mitch who did not play in 2021, think about that during that first post-season run of the Tom Thibodeau era in fact there was nobody on that team that's playing today think about that

Julius Randall not healthy not playing and Mitch did not play in that series because he was hurt.

Right, you forget that almost.

It's incredible. There's nobody left.

Eric Rose, Alfred Payton, Julius Randall.

It's ridiculous.

So number one, I felt bad for Mitchell Robinson.

And number two, big picture, this is damaging.

It's damaging in a potential Eastern Conference finals against Boston,

and it's damaging in an NBA finals against who knows maybe

Oklahoma City whatever but in the short term this doesn't kill him it just doesn't

just based on the matchup like yeah it does not kill them in this Indiana

series and you could argue they may be better off with

precious Chua gobbling up his minutes anyway.

Well because of the athleticism and the pace because we know what we know what Indiana wants to do

versus what the 76ers are going to do and it's
