Suddenly a man in uniform threw caution to the wind and picked up the phone.

As he put the receiver to his ear, he heard a voice, wanted to know why to take it so goddamn long to answer the phone.

What the hell wasn't anybody picking up the goddamn phone.

It is a dark and stormy night, he wanted to say.
