All right, today we will be looking at the true treasure God offers to us, the kingdom of heaven.

We're going to see that in Matthew 13, verses 44 through 46 today, so get out your Bibles and pray

with me as we prepare ourselves to learn from

God's word. Our God, we just turn to you desperately, eagerly, desiring for your help because we cannot

understand your word without your help. So Lord, be our teacher, be our instructor, Holy Spirit,

open our hearts to your truth.

We ask it in Jesus' name, amen.

Well, it might be good to start out by thinking about what is important to you in your life.

I think the majority of people are immediately going to think of people.

You're going to think of our kids, our spouse, our family.

We are going to have some

very good priorities when it comes to what's valuable to us. But Matthew 13, 44 through 46,

kind of turns all that upside down. Not saying those are bad things, but saying they shouldn't be
