and last names, and guys, we are just two buddies. We're also ministers, and we love sharing stories of the Bible with you. And again, today is like no other, and yet in some ways it is, because here we are with another awesome Bible story. In a way, guys, this is part two to the last episode on King Neb. This is going a little bit further in the book of Daniel, and hearing a little bit more about King Neb, and Daniel's experience with him. And, and, and

just how God's going to move through this. And man, it's, it's a little wild, literally wild. Matt, I'm going to throw it to you, bro. You let us know what's going on. Todd, I just want to just take a moment to reflect on our using our first and last names for the first time. This is like this is like if somebody had a Halloween mask on, and they took it off, and it's the big reveal who is it. But then it's just actually another Halloween mask. Yeah, it's the entire

time we were both Henry Winkler or not, we're just, we're nobody. We were want to be funds, but we're not. And in it great to think that, you know, here we are sharing our full names, nobody cares, but it's, but this is for me, it's very special. You and I have been friends for so many years, and to finally learn your last name. Praise the Lord, you know,

Well, previously on Bible stories, we were introduced to King Neb, the leader of the juggernaut country known as Babylon. He had conquered Judah, and he had brought from Judah the best and finest to Babylon, including our guy, Daniel.

Now, the king had a dream, unlike Todd and I, his was not likely due to something like B.K. Any rings. Yeah, big old eggs. Boy, boy, they are delicious, but they cause havoc. The king has a dream, and he brings in all of his ringers. He brings in magicians and chanters, sorcerers. He tells him to interpret his dream, or else they're dead.

And by the way, if you are a sorcerer in a magician and in a chanter, then you should be able to tell me, King Neb, exactly what I dreamed before you tell me what it means. So he gave them to just massive tasks.

So these boys, they were in T.R.

T only try. They were in T.R.O.U.B.L.E. I got there. Yeah, little Travis Tritt action there. You smell T.R.O.U.B.L.E.

Yeah, some kids, hey, all right, go ahead. Some kids, he's hooked on phonics to learn how to spell. I use it Travis Tritt song.

It didn't work for me. It didn't work for me because I couldn't get it out.

Well, Daniel, along with Shadrach, Meshak, and a bednago, they are among the wise men who would be killed.

They weren't sorcerers or magicians or enchanters, but they were a part of the wise men. So Daniel goes back home and he tells his guys, we need to pray.

And we need to pray because we need God's help. We need God to reveal to us what the king dreamed and then what exactly it means.

So that's what they do and that's what the Lord does. He reveals to Daniel what the dream is about and it's meaning.

Daniel interprets a dream and the king is just crazy impressed. He says that truly Daniel's God is God of God's and Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries.

Daniel was made the ruler over the province of Babylon, so we got this cushy promotion and the chief prefect over all the wise men of Babylon.

Then your boy Daniel appoints his crew, Shadrach, Meshak, and a bednago, over the affairs, the province of Babylon.

And he, Daniel, remained at the king's court. He is high up and he made sure to give his cohorts big positions as well.

Okay, so next comes the story of the fiery furnace as we're going through the events.

Cliff's notes on this is that King Neb made this golden statue and he insisted that everybody bow down in worship it or they would die.

So our hero, Shadrach, Meshak and a bednago, they of course refuse and King Neb throws them into the fiery furnace.
