Luke chapter 24. Now, last time the disciples had seen Jesus when we find him in Luke 24,

is they'd seen somebody taking his dead body down off of a cross. A couple of the disciples and

several of the women had said that they'd seen Jesus since then. But you'll notice there in verse 11

of chapter 24, it says that this seemed like nonsense to them. So that's where we pick up in verse 36.

Verse 36, as they were talking about these things, Jesus himself stood among them. I love that

little phrase that he stood among them, not that he walked into the midst of them. Right? He just

like, they're in a small group. They're standing in a circle and all of a sudden, boom, he's there.
