The act of sacrifice that I think all worship involves, right?

Because even if you worship the Lord, just, you know, listening to worship music

and you're standing there with arms lifted and crying your eyes out.

There's an act of sacrifice as far as I'm taking up my cross, I'm letting it all go,

I'm following you.

That's where the sacrifice was.

You brought things to the altar and you sacrificed.

Abraham built an altar to sacrifice Isaac on.

So you sacrifice at the altar that meeting place with God.

God knows that there is a struggle for us to part with money above and beyond

anything else on this earth. So what better way to sacrifice to the Lord is to sacrifice

the thing that has a grip on so many human beings on planet Earth.
