Today we're speaking to historical researcher Brad Davies.

He is the guy that runs Propagandopolis.

If you know Popular Front, you probably know Propagandopolis, very good friend of ours.

Brad, it goes to the ends of the earth to find the most interesting and obscure wartime propaganda

and other propaganda and makes it accessible to everyone in many different forms.

Tell us, what is propagandopolis?

Propagandopolis is basically a forum, forward slash blog, but the blog still in the works

a little bit about the history of propaganda and with a view of looking at maybe like how propaganda operates in the

current you know the contemporary world as well um it's probably a social media thing at the moment

it's big on instagram it's big on twitter it's somewhat big on the ticot've, uh, I need to be a bit more active on

that. And it's, uh, it's got a presence on telegram as well. Um, but yeah, it's, but it's basically

just me sharing interesting bits of propaganda that I found mostly from the past

century or so, but I do go a little bit further back when I feel like there's something

especially fascinating. It's propaganda. I tried to share propaganda that people haven't seen

before. It's posters, it's leaflets, it stamps, it's, you know, little figures. Like there's

one that I shared, I think it was last year,

one that shows Stalin and Uncle Sam sodomizing Hitler.

It's just as much interesting propaganda as I can find.

And the end goal, which is something I hope to really get a start on next year,

is to have a much more permanent online digital archive that is very navigable. That will just be like a place for all of the propaganda to,

it will be like the internet's biggest and most searchable database of propaganda basically

that's what propagandopolis is as of today yeah and there's a lot of people do similar to
