All right. If you want to turn to Matthew Chapter 2, I want to share a Christmas message with you that I'm calling the King of Kings.

And we know Jesus is the King of Kings, but I want to show you some Kings that came to worship him,

and a king that didn't want to worship him.

And then we're going to talk about the true king that was born at Christmas.

All right?

So here's the first group we're going to talk about.

The joyous kings.

This is point number one, the joyous kings.

And we're talking about the wise men all right Matthew 2 1 now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea you've got Jesus there the king in the days of Herod the king, so there's an earthly king,

behold wise men from the east came to Jerusalem.

And then look at verse two,

saying, where is he who has been born king of the Jews?

For we've seen his star in the East and have come to worship him.

When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled and all Jerusalem with him.

And then we'll come back to this in-between part in a moment, the in-between verses.

Look down at verse 9. When they heard the king, that's the wise man, they

departed and behold the star which they'd seen in the east went before them. I want you to remember

the word went till it came and stood over where the young child was.

Notice the words, young child.

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy and when they come into the

house not the stable or the barn the house they saw the young child, not the baby, the young child with Mary's

mother and fell down and worshiped him and when they had opened their treasures, I'm going to talk about that phrase in a moment,
