with a sharp sword that goes forth out of his mouth.

And he shall sit upon the throne of David and will be acclaimed King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

And he will bring in the glorious kingdom age.

So there is this false hope that they will hold on to at the beginning. In the scriptures we read because they would not believe the truth of God.

God gave them over to a strong delusion that they would believe a lie.
