uh, uh, uh, uh, Hello and welcome to Bible stories. I am one of your hosts, Matt Mullins.

Your other host, Todd Haymans, will likely jump on this call

in just a minute, but he got called away

on some ministerial business, so he'll be with us likely soon but I'm so

excited to share with you the conclusion of our story on King Jowash this has been a series that started with great promise, great drama,

and now we're going to see it all the way through the end. So here's a quick recap as what's happened in Joe Ash's life.

Joe Ash, his dad was the King of Judah. You'll recall that at this point in history Israel has split into two nations

Judah and Israel and when that happened when King Jo Ash's dad died, the royal grandmother, a lady named Queen

Athilia, well she killed the rest of the royal family so that she herself could take the throne.

She was the daughter of the most wicked king and queen in Israel's history, Ahab and Jezebel.

And this woman, Ethelia, she wants to be the boss.

So she does what she thinks she needs to do to become the Queen, and she does in fact succeed.

She becomes the only ruling Queen in Judah's history.

But what she doesn't realize is that one family member does in fact make it out.

Little Joe Ash, a male heir in the line of David,

a male heir who really is the rightful king,

and he was saved, Joe Ash was saved by his ex. who really is the rightful king.

And he was saved, Joe Ash was saved by his auntie and his uncle.

They hid this little boy,

this one year old little boy, for seven years.

They hid him in the temple of God.
