In February 2016, a six person hit-team burst through the doors of a boxing weigh-in at Dublin's Regency Hotel. There, a Kinahan Cartel lieutenant named David Byrne was brutally murdered, as other senior members of the gang made a lucky escape.  The attack took place in front of a room packed full of boxers, journalists, civilians, and young children. From that moment on, Irish gangland would never be the same again.

Premiering on the 26th of April, The Kinahans is a new Irish true crime podcast created by The Irish Sun.
