Hey everybody, welcome to the latest episode of True Consequences, and the season finale for season three. I really hope that you enjoyed the latest season of True Consequences. It's really been a joy to create. And while the stories have been pretty difficult to cover, I'm grateful for the people who have helped me make this possible. Zakaria was a transgender woman living in Albuquerque, New Mexico who was brutally murdered along with her roommate. The first part of this episode is going to be CJ giving you the case details in a narrative. And the second half is me interviewing Zakaria's sister, Heather, to talk about the murder case and how it's affected their family. Again, I want to thank all of you for making this show possible.
