Diana Washington-Baldez, she is the author of Harvest of Women.

This is not one of the more pleasant shows that we do, but it has to be done.

And the work that she has done is very important,

and it's something that has to be exposed,

because I guess not only because of who the victims are,

but because of the frequency with which it happens.

But we're going to talk about, I believe, a specific incident

or in and around the specific incident that took place some years ago.

All right. You've written Harvest of Women, Safari in Mexico.

Why don't you, well, start the beginning if you wish and tell us what got you into this and how this all

turned out for you.

The book actually titled The Killing Fields Harvested Women and published in Spanish as well

in 2005 with the English book coming out this year, it has to do with the murders of women and young girls in Zudad Juarez, at the border

city, right across from El Paso, Texas.

And these murders were documented beginning in 1993 because they were very unusual.
