It's the first week of October and you know what that means, the Halloween season is officially here.

It's the most wonderful time of the year.

A time when we walk amongst monsters, ghosts, ghouls, vampires, and creatures of the night.

We dress up as them, we laugh at them, and for one night of the year, we get to play

pretend. But the man that we're talking about today didn't need to put on a costume to be a monster.

You've said you had a very definite feeling about Rick Chase. My belief was that Richard Chase now was doing things with small animals, animals and birds, you know,

and that he would graduate to larger animals and eventually to people.

That he was sick and dangerous.
