One big takeaway from the midterm elections was that voters aged 18 to 24 who fall into

0:07.6

the Gen Z category voted for Democrats by 61%. 61%. And some research by Tufts University's

0:17.2

Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement suggests that 27%

0:23.8

of people ages 18 to 29 voted in the election. So we're looking at increased turnout

0:29.9

from young people who are going heavily for Democrats. So why is that happening? Well, I think we

0:37.5

look to America's schools. We look to K to 12 and we've had a lot of conversations on this show

0:43.6

about the woke indoctrination, the things that they're trying to pump young minds with.

0:49.8

But we haven't had the conversation about just the breakdown in education in these schools.

0:55.6

And there are some recent findings from the National Assessment of Education Progress,

1:01.4

which is known as the nation's report card, which tested hundreds of thousands of fourth and

1:07.0

eighth graders across the country this year. And they found that reading scores dropped to 1992

1:11.8

levels that four in 10 eighth graders failed to grasp basic math concepts. In both math and reading,

1:18.7

students scored lower than those tested in 2019. And math scores plummeted by the largest margins

1:27.7

in the history of this test, which began in 1969. So what does that mean for our country moving

1:34.0

forward? And then we're looking at other developed nations who are outpacing us in the education

1:38.5

system as well. So what does that mean for American competitiveness? And how do we fix the issue?

1:42.8

How do we break up this bureaucracy that's not only indoctrinating or youth, which are then

1:47.8

going to turn out in elections and vote for all these dumb things like climate change and abortion

1:53.9

and guns that are being pumped in their minds? But what does it mean for the country more broadly

1:58.9

when we're pumping kids out of the education system who don't think critically, who aren't educated

2:04.8

and we're failing and compared to other nations? So we're going to talk to one guy who's

2:09.6

talking about this, who's actually made it his mission, who's passionate about all of this,

...
