Summary
On February 19, 2008, Karen Matthews dialed 999 to report her 9-year-old daughter, Shannon, missing. She hadn't seen her since she left for school that morning. The police immediately began looking for the missing girl. Miraculously, she was found 24 days after she had disappeared. She was hidden in an apartment just one mile from her own home. The truth of who was behind the 9-year-old's kidnapping is truly stranger than fiction.
