So I'm sitting in church this morning with my mom who came to visit,

and what a great time to spend five days together with my mom.

She baked her famous magical disappearing cookies.

She baked 450 of them, and within about three hours they had all disappeared.

It's an amazing trick.

And we went to church together, and like I said, I had tears coming down my face.

I felt like they were just streaming down my face like a fountain, because I'm so grateful for that old rugged cross. Why in the world would I be

grateful for a Roman torture device that crucified people 2,000 years ago? How can that move me like that as a 50-year-old man today in 2021?

It's because of what God's done in my heart.

He's revived me.

He brought me back from being spiritually dead, and now I'm alive.

And after that, the sermon came, came out, and it was so good.

He was quoting from a passage in scripture that I'd like to share with you right now.

And it's, you know that passage?

I believe it's Matthew 16.
