To succeed in life and find happiness, it is of vital importance to comprehend and realize the element of resistance.

This element is always present, a part of the divine plan, and no living thing can escape it.

Its purpose is evolution, and in opposition to this element of resistance stands assertiveness.

By the action of the two we have the result, either failure or success, according to the degree and nature of our assertiveness. An individual who governs themselves by the laws of progress

assertively meets resistance with wisdom and strength,

and by this very contact promotes the growth of their personality,

the enfoldment of their power, evolution, and success.

To progress, we must confront our problems and not avoid them.

We are inclined to sidestep resistance, ever seeking and always failing to find a road of non-resistance, which we hope may lead to the realization of our dreams and desires.

But resistance is part of the great plan.

There is nothing in existence which can progress without direct contact with this element.

The seed is placed in the ground intake's root.

But to grow it must assertively overcome the resistance of the ground covering it.

If the acorn failed to be assertive, there would be no more oaks. Just so it has

been from the beginning of time with every living thing. The child in the mother's womb, making

its first independent move for life, assertively attacks resistance on its way to life.

A world without resistance would not be worth living in.
