We're picking back up with day four of our The God Moment that changes everything devotional

in the Bible app.

And as always, I'm going to read the scripture, then Tori's going to pick with the

The scripture is Luke chapter 15, verses 17 through 19, and this is this, when he finally

came to his senses, he said to himself, at home, even the hired servants have food enough

to spare.

And here I am dying of hunger.

I will go home to my father and say, Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you,

and I'm no longer worthy of being called your son.

Please take me on as a hired servant.

The devotional is titled honesty, talking to myself.

We see the second ingredient, brutal honesty of the aha in Luke 15, 17.

He said to himself, there was no one else around.

It was just him and the pigs, sometimes the hardest conversation to have is the one you

have with yourself.
