Using Basketball Monsters' advanced rostering metric, who's been added over the last 48 hours.

Number one on that list is the replacement point guard in Memphis, and that is Vince Williams, Jr.

He's only started two games this season, both replacing Tometrius Morant. Of course, they had other point guard options in Scotty Pippen and other point guard options in Tide-Durone, but they have not played a game this season. So Williams is it. Although I said, Javon Small, and he's injured too. Williams, in those two games games is averaging 13.7 rebounds, five and a half assists.

That's pretty good.

I'd be pretty happy with those sort of results and I think you should be.

He is struggling in some other areas though.

We'll give him that. And I talked about him at decent length yesterday on the recap show because it was important.

We saw that game from him with Jha out and Moran's going to be missing in the next couple of weeks as well.

The thing about what Williams is doing is that the passing has been an underrated skill,

but now he's put into a position where the guys around him, Cedricoward, Cicaberg, Caterp, Cotwell Pope, Jalen Wells, Jaron Jackson, Zach Eady, none of them can pass. None of them are passes. So even if he's not the best passer, he's going to have to be the one that's entrusted with that. Why I look at this is a, I do think it is a must roster position right now
