But the biggest story, really, in the sports world is what happened on Monday Night Football

with Damar Hamlin.

And for those who have not heard, I think it's very important to lead off with the latest

update, which is very, very good news about

Damar Hamlin from the physicians caring for him at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

He has shown remarkable improvement over the past 24 hours.

While still critically ill, he has demonstrated that he appears to be neurologically intact.

His lungs continue to heal, and he is making steady progress.

He has been able to communicate

through writing he is holding hands of people who come into the room and the first question he

asked when he regained consciousness was did we win the doctors replied yes you won at the game

of life damar gerard obviously a terrifying scene on Monday night.

We've kind of all been waiting and waiting and waiting for an update like this.
