I think that it's related to too many people on the left thinking that religion is a factor,

at the very least, that needs to be minimized in the public square.

And some on the left, certainly not all, but some on the left.

I mean, I know this because I engage with them online often believe that religion is a bad thing.

And, you know, they throw around phrases like Christian nationalism, whatever that would be.

Kevin, today we're discussing one of the most underreported human rights issues in the world, the persecution of Christians.

And I know a lot of people might hear that and say, what are you talking about?

And that's part of the problem.

It's happening.

It's significant.

And not a lot of people are talking

about it. Countries across Africa, the Middle East Asia, Christians are being kidnapped, murdered,

imprisoned, driven from their homes, and targeted. And they're being targeted for their faith,

for their Christian faith. A lot of Americans rarely hear about this. So let's start there. Kevin Roberts.

Hello. Thanks for being here. Why do you think the persecution of Christians abroad receive so

little sustained attention from major Western institutions? I think there are a couple things at play.

One of them is a long-running American bias, and that would include you and me toward domestic

issues.

And it isn't that we think that international matters, even something as important as the plight

of Christians abroad are somehow unimportant.
