of the date that the Kentucky Meat Shower itself happened.

But first, in 1876, a woman in Kentucky was out front of her house making soap, when suddenly,

pieces of meat started falling from the sky.

After it, numerous people came over to examine the meat.

Some even tasted it.

Samples were shipped to scientists to begin to analyze it, and we even have a preserved piece

of it today.
