Hi, I'm Ross Kemp. Over the last 18 years, I've made some 90- documentaries predominantly in hostile environments, from Afghanistan to Syria,

from El Salvador to the Congo. And it's fair to say that during that time I found myself in a few interesting situations.

I've been shot at, tear-gassed, had knives pulled on me and spears thrown at me.

But in all those years, what's impressed me the most is the

resilience of the human spirit. Our ability no matter where we're from to overcome

and make it through to the other side.

So in my new series, the Kempcast,

I'll be talking to some incredible individuals

who all have engaging stories to tell

and have themselves overcome some extremely tough moments in their lives.

Right now we are living in unprecedented times and we should be doing all we can together to get through this as safely as possible.
