It's, you know, it's been a long time in the making. I think maybe I'll write an article about this

journey, I guess, one of these days, But this is a subject that, you know, was when I started out was almost entirely an academic of academic interest to me. I had never really, I was in college. I majored in European history at the University of Wisconsin, which is really a focus on Russian and German history.

And so, of course, anybody, any fair-minded person who studies a lot of Russian and German history is going to feel, you know, is going to come out of that experience feeling very protective of Jewish people.
