I don't feel like we've ever met because now that I see you face to face, I'm pretty sure we haven't. But I've been a fan of your work for a very long time. And I think you're just a fantastic writer and thinker. And I'm really glad to have you on. It's weird. The thing that's weird about the online social media world is I do feel like I know you.

Exactly.

Yes.

And you've been very open about your fight with colorectoral cancer.

How are you doing now?

Yeah, doing good.

So I had surgery a little about about a month and a

half ago and we got clean margins, which if you know anything about cancer, that's a very good thing.

And so just had my first scan and no evidence of disease as right now. So we're really happy about that.

So glad to hear that. I've been praying for you. I'm really thrilled

to hear that. So tell me about yourself. How did you get into this thing of hours that we do,

this media world? You know, it was kind of an accident. I was at Arizona State University during the

years that it really earned its reputation as a party school. And I did a lot

of contributing to that. And I kind of, I was an English lit major. I didn't really know what I

wanted to do with that. But I started working on my student newspaper, enjoyed that, enjoyed
