My guest today is Dr. Helen Smith, author of Men on Strike and author of the fantastic new book, His Side. Men speak out on dating, marriage,

and life in America. Hi, Helen. So nice to have you on.

Carol, thank you so much for inviting me on your show. I appreciate it.

I'm a longtime fan of yours. You and your husband are some of my absolute favorite people of

1:22.9

1:29.3

and I know you do a lot on politics and that sort of thing, but we've seen this political

1:32.7

shift, and that's what my first book was about, Men on Stroth, which looked at, I wrote that in

1:37.6

2012, 2013, it came out. But it looked at that societal shift that happened in the 60s, shifting

1:43.4

over to, it's almost like our whole society has changed over to everybody thinking that men are horrible and denigrating men.
