but we have decided to release it as a main episode instead.

There has been so much interest on this case and the trial

is happening right now. It's laced with wild conspiracy theories on both sides. It just

made sense. So before we get started I wanted to review the crime and what we will be covering today.

On the morning of January 29th, 2022, Boston police officer John O'Keefe was found in the lawn of a Canton, Massachusetts home of another Boston police officer

Brian Albert. He was laying in the yard of the Albert's home near the street. The snow had just

begun to fall from a highly anticipated winter storm that was moving through

South Shore of Boston. Moments after the body is found and first responders arrive on the scene,

his girlfriend Karen Reed is immediately the number one suspect. Shortly after she is charged with manslaughter,

which then increases to second-degree murder and has been awaiting trial, which started on

April 29th of this year, more than two years after Officer O'Keefe's death.

Lastly, one thing you'll note is that much more than some of our other episodes,

there will be a little bit more opinion on this episode.

We are, of course, not investigators or detectives and the trial is

ongoing so we don't know the truth yet. But facts from the crime, actions of those around the crime,

and the insane number of coincidences definitely had us

leaning in one direction more than the other and we share our opinions only as

interested individuals following the case from afar. So sit back and get caught up
