Hey, wonderfuls. It is me, and I am coming at you with an announcement.

I guess I've never, I know I've never made before.

It feels very strange.

I am reluctant to say it.

I'm so sorry.

I know this is sounding very melodramatic, and I don't mean it to be at all.

But, you know, first of all, I want to thank you so much for being patient with me while I was up at SF Sketchfest.

It's just become increasingly difficult to get those episodes recorded with the wonderful, wonderful people that I am so grateful and

privileged to talk to for the JV Club. It's just been hard to get those nailed down, especially

during Sketchfest and beforehand. I love doing this podcast. I love the community that we've created. I am not stopping the podcast,

but I am going to go on a little hiatus for the first time in, what, 13 years? So it's kind of

funny to be saying this because I know a lot of podcasts do take breaks, so they go seasonally.

That's just not something I have done. But it's all good stuff.

It's, I just have so many great things going on that I'm excited about that I just need to

press pause on something.

And Max Fund Drive is coming up.

I want to be able to give 100% to raising support for the network writ large.

And also for the podcast I've been doing with John Hodgman, E pluribus motto.

It is so joyful.

And there has been so much listener interaction.

It's a little overwhelming.

So please know that one of the main reasons I need to pause the JV club is that I want to interact more with you all. And there's
