The jury is deliberating whether or not to convict former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin over the death of George Floyd.

Here's how this phase of the trial will work.

Prezyding Judge Peter K. Hill will allow the jury to deliberate every day until seven o'clock.

And if they reach a decision after sunset, the decision will be read the following morning.
