He was working as a software developer and had recently gotten married. He and his wife had just bought a house

and he says he liked to come home from work and watch Law and Order on TV. He'd seen so much

Law and Order. He thought he knew what to expect from a trial.

During jury selection, he was asked how he felt about the death penalty.

He said that he wasn't strongly for or against it and was
