Story Nore presents The Jungle Book. Mowgli's Brothers, Part 2. Hello, this is Richard, and I'm here with

0:11.7

the second episode of The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling. Last time we heard how a baby boy,

0:19.0

Malgley, was adopted by a family of wolves. Father Wolf is

0:24.5

about to present him to the Wolfpack. Will they accept the little man cub? And I'm delighted

0:32.5

to dedicate this episode to Ray and Jasper, who supports StoryNory on Patreon.

1:41.9

1:48.0

centre of the circle where their mothers and fathers sat. And now and again, a senior wolf

1:54.0

would go quietly up to a cub, look at him carefully, and return to his place on noiseless feet. Sometimes a mother would push

2:03.5

her cub far out into the moonlight to be sure that he had not been overlooked. Arkela from his rock

2:10.9

would cry, "'Ye know the law, ye know the law. Look well, O wolves!

2:20.3

And the anxious mothers would take up the call.

2:24.3

Look, look well, oh wolves!
