The day your baseball season ends and I think this goes with all sports

basketball too football as well it's always an awkward following day because there's a part of

you trying to figure out what went wrong you know know, you're kind of figuring out what

happened in that last game that caused your season to end and then your brain

quickly takes you to the future. And the Yankees have a very questionable future that we've known about for the last seven months because they went out and made an aggressive trade for a great all-time player in Wandsoto.

And we all knew what they got going in they gave up a lot but they got a great

player a player that I admit as an iBO has been a joy to watch and I admit that

selfishly because early in wands career t, he was not a joy to watch.

He was in my division as a Met fan.

And while I always respected him, it was painful, to say the least.

And obviously watching him every day with the New York Yankees

he's everything I thought he was if not more. He is one of the greatest

hitters I've ever laid eyes on. He battles every single at that. I think he's a little

overrated defensively but whatever and now is go time because I have no regrets that

the Yankees made this trade. They did what they had to do. They wanted to try to win a world series and they did the best they could and they got to the fifth game of the world series but now it comes down to are they going to be able to bring them back and the one constant I've had since the beginning was

Juan Soto is not giving anybody a discount. He is not going to just enjoy his

experience here and say I'm staying. It is going to just enjoy his experience here and say I'm staying it is going to be

about the money and the years and I think we all have to respect that that the

player has a right to do that when they get to free agency and I think as we get to the eve of

MLB free agency because it's sort of here but not really players hit free agency
